Dixie Kong was my vote in the Smash ballot back in the Smash 4 days cause I loved Tropical Freeze at that time. She´s still my pick for the DK series after K. Rool made it in and imo she could be different enough from Diddy, with a focus on moves with her hair

The Donkey Kong series is pretty well repped now tbh, but if we got a new char, I think Dixie makes the most sense. She's neat, a classic Kong, and her hair would definitely provide areas to differentiate her from Diddy.
