Paul Lehr (1930-1998) is one of the greatest future-fantasist painters of the post-pulp era. In the late-80s /90s, after paperback publishers lost interest in putting weird covers on their books, Lehr turned his attention to painting epic and highly detailed dream landscapes.

Walter Osborne (1859-1903) Cattle in a Meadow (n.d.). One of our favourites (as you may know) Osborne was a master of light, with a great sense of freedom in his Irish landscapes. Farm animals feature regularly, and always sit, or stand, in peace.

other art stuff i haven't posted - i started playing around with mandelbulb3d (a fractal visualizer) and have discovered it's very good for creating soft pastel nightmare landscapes. not sure yet if/how i want to fold this into illustration work
