Why did I never use Multiply till now? The shading looks way nicer with it... and it mixes into the base colour way better... It works so well and I only now had a reason to use it...

So today I found out that you could set a layer to "multiply" and it makes coloring a lot easier. I did a quick test with one of Araki's Rai sketches using the razzberry Josuke palette. I know the coloring looks super basic but it was still neat to find this out

use any color really, but remember to mix them with the base color and chose the intensity depending on what the lighting demands from there. Also use different layer types if in digital, my faves are multiply for shade and screen for light but really just fuck around. No black

i am realizing it's not immediately obvious how hard i worked on this and that it's not some sort of filter, so here's the 3 separate layers i used, all set to multiply. aside from a paper texture, i didn't use any other colors.
