@TheKevstermania I’d say probably character proportions, and keeping them consistent would definitely be a good area to look into. I’d recommend looking at a crap ton of stuff like Concept Art, and whatnot like Sonic X, Sonic Adventure, and Team Sonic Racing. Particularly Model Sheets.

i was honestly happy with the initial design, then the past 2 redesigns set out to fix a lot of issues with the original, such as the proportions lol, as well as add new details and change things up... a few months makes a quite difference haha...

i feel like some people draw fat people using the same guidelines as they do thinner people so here’s me drawing some guidelines over kristian incase it’s helpful for figuring out proportions n stuff idk. when in doubt break things into shapes
I love how Yasuhiko draws female bodies (not in a sexual way). He gives them curves, realistic hips and thighs, and he doesn’t over-exaggerate. The proportions feel reasonable, and not over-sexualized.
