guess now's as good a time as any for a weird hc: I imagine after Speak no Evil, Wakeman swapped out Jenny's language CD's for a set of white, cube-shaped flash drives. when all are installed, they more closely resemble a set of human teeth (they also don't fall out as easily).

i think what drives me crazy about bean mouth is that i STRONGLY suspect it's inspired by miyazaki

but it loses its appeal when its

a) suddenly on every single modern cartoon style

b) not lovingly animated in 3 dimensions like miyazaki did

c) not used to its full potential
