In DOOM and DOOM II, the chaingun's pickup sprite has a single muzzle, despite the held sprite having 6.
In DOOM II, the Chaingunner is shown holding an ammunition belt with his chaingun having 4 barrels, not 6. However the pickup sprite suggests it's magazine fed.
