Family units (traditional and otherwise) seem to me to be a constant in anime, just behind high school settings.

Families are all over the place in Dragon Ball, as they were in Dr Slump before it. Manga/anime focused on ordinary family matters (Atashin'chi, The Yamadas), etc.

At the moment, I just draw a bunch of D&D art from our games, but I'd really really like to start creating content. I'd like to do a monster or race supplement. I'm also trying to design a world and one-shot for a good friend's birthday, but creating settings would be awesome!
