Tip #2: Do. Fewer. Drawings. Here on Curious George, I decided I needed to really spell out every little micro-step of this horse turning, stopping, rearing, and running offscreen, complete with anticipations, in-betweens, cushioning/easing... WAY TOO MUCH WORK FOR BOARDS.

Art Tip: Toned tan sketchbooks are one of my favorite paper types. The light brown paper gives you a mid-tone that allows white ink to highlight. I usually have a brush and jar in my sketching supplies, along with standard pencils and markers.
