Saw a post talking about how good his outfits are and I noticed that he seems to always has fur or wears coats that have large shoulder pads, I think it’s because he wants to feel and look powerful and assertive since his actual figure is more on the slim/petite side

always thought modern anime looked more shinier+flatter coz they use softer shading + palette.
old anime tends to have more darker shading (esp. in 90s OVA), and color choice tends to be more bolder
