like they contrast so well, while both characters are feminine Rouge is more sophisticated, while she isn't exactly evil,but she tends prioritize what she wants first lol
Amy sweet and cutsey, she is more selfless and honest.

I also noticed that reds and red-oranges add a nice contrast to her greens (though it's more noticeable to me because I bump my saturation up slightly in-game)

i drew her civilian form initially with dyed hair and decided i liked the contrast natural-to-blue better btwn the designs, and it makes her look more like the existing magical antiheroine characters that all have natural hair. i still like her dyed hair version though
