the jiangshi are one of my most favourite chinese mythological creatures, mostly because of hsien-ko from darkstalkers. its also such a weird concept for a zombie/vampire hybrid. but makes more sense when you get into the lore of it.

I've not made sprites of them yet, so I decided to draw my most recent creations : Ghost/Fighting types based on a Jiangshi from Chinese mythology, which are hopping vampire zombies. These are cat-like as well because cats are also one way of a Jiangshi coming to life (in myth)
