I like how the first 8 issues of the Archie Sonic reboot each had their own little tagline, which by the way, the old one "The World's Most Way Past Cool Comic!" last appeared in issue 235's cover and was gone after that.
Once Waves of Change hit, this little reboot trend left.

the really early ones, first dozen or so, were painted-- which was a bad idea on half a day deadline, and without the color profile for the newspaper. they printed horiffically. but at least the painting quality was improving by leaps and bounds in the span of ~five weeks
sometimes i'd try other mediums than ink, to varying results. the first two here almost sorta get at that briggs line, but by next week i dropped that avenue entirely. before that i tried charcoal
@NFTupdate @batcowls is both. The Comic Book Cover was recently realised a few weeks back, Bat Cowls took a series of votes on the storyline, nemesis, Bat Suit, Bat Mobile, Gotham City Districts.

@byelacey Nimona WAS my favorite web comic before it became a full printed book!! I read it when it was still getting updates online, and when it finished. I think it has a wonderful style. It's by Nate Stevenson, the same guy behind She-Ra Princesses of Power!!
