@MissMarisaArt when it comes to linework it makes it so I can nicely separate details like the outline of the jacket being more opaque than the folds. and for painting it helps me prevent putting down brush strokes that are too small to matter and keeps me focused on big shapes.

@siko_gd thanks for your opinion, I include a bigger image with more background area. It quite works, I will see it in the future, but when you mentioned this maybe the guard is a little off with a thick outline. Just need some polish.

I would love to combine elements of these two John Fox Flash costumes. The use of red on the right. But the light-up circuitry on the dark blue body suit. The time gauntlets. A better mask. The left's symbol - with an outline.
also i updated the palette ever so slightly - replaced the pink outlines with a darker blue
kinda liked those, but this looks a LOT nicer imo

Experimenting with some new brushes. I used a draft pencil for the outline and a soft shader for all the coloring.

Hair render for Nyanners 3d fanart i made.
No curve used & thus low poly. For a proper cel-look character, this is the way to go. It gives you very good hair topology and clean outlines that require minimal adjustment but Ofc. takes more time.
