Thought I'd say this one last time: I prefer 64/TTYD's story book style, if they remake those games in the new style, I they just need to do this: Remove thick white outlines, make animations more fluid, and use old enemy style (left) instead of the NSMB design (right)

If we’re talking about M&L artwork then I have to say that I loved the original desaturated/painted rendering they used to have. But I also really love how they cranked up the saturation for DT and Paper Jam’s artwork too (DT's ethereal blue outlines also go a long way)

Hold on. Which style of outlines look better with my painting? New Is on the left. I personally am leaning heavily into the softer outlines on the left being the play. It's a little messy cause it wasn't planned but you get the idea.

From there it was posing and outlines! though her expression was a bit hard to capture Once I set her up in the right angle moving those verts began to fall into place! ✨ I went back in to paint the outlines in 3D coat, and boom! She was all ready to render 😊💖

Retopo and Uv's took a bit! I wasn't sure how to do the hair at first... when am I ever? it took a while to tetris the UVs! 😭
Jumping ahead but this image fits best here sdfjkhf I mixed 3dcoats gradient tool and a lil handpainting to match the lighting on Danis outlines! ✌️😊
