Just doodles some WW1 trenches I really liked the look of. Tried playing with colors and lighting while I was at it.

Finished this for memorial day
Gonna add it to a bunch of other ww1 pics I've been working on
It saddens me to no end how much this war is taught as just a foot note back when I was in highschool
So I'm making these pictures so hopefully we never forget this seminal tragedy

not saying that battlefield V is going to be bad, but I've lost much of my interest

the WW2 theme feels too similar to WW1 to feel differentiated and fresh

I also have no problem with females in vidya or war, but the way they're approaching it feels like forced pandering

Head of a Boche (German Prisoner) by William Orpen
One of the 3 or 4 pictures he did from a photograph - see post by (12 Apr). I assume it was because he couldn't sit long enough with the prisoner!

Aside from Citadelfall, I also create designs for my Nationstates nation, Sonitusia. Here I came up with my own rendition of a turret rifle set for WW1 standards. Instead of using open bullets, now gun is loaded with sealed cartridges.
