This was when I was experimenting with different brushes. He was called Obelisk, & was originally an archaeologist who found an empty coffin he got attached to. Then it began talking to him & he became a warlock who sees his patron as his best friend. Seems creepy, but is a goof.

I was experimenting a bit with colours, light & shadow and types of brushes. I also tried to get out of my comfort zone a bit. I gave up with the hair tho.
I felt really inspired by araki's artwork and decided to go back to my semi-realism era,, it kind of worked

8: teeth. I struggled with the ink, the paint, the paper, the brushes. None of it was working right. I don’t like it. I posted it anyway. Experimentation is in the spirit of Inktober. A wise friend tells me they can’t all be masterpieces.
