what I love most w/ ghibli animation are the flourishes they add to small gestures; like when seita had to shake off the sakuma drops off the cloth, sophie brushing off crumbs on the table, chihiro's hair tying scene, or anna losing her balance on the boat after removing the rope

Drawing my emotions when I have a hard time vocalizing/writing them is something I've done since I was a kid
I actually drew it before *gestures at everything* all this, for other reasons, but same emotions just magnified about 100x
60min sketch. I've been trying to improve on drawing fluid gestures. I think my biggest self criticism currently is that my figures alllways look hella stiff and unrealistically rigid. Focusing less on rendering and more on pose and form
