I love transferring parts of their original character over to the new ones. Like the single blue eye as a remnant as their time as a death knight in the WoW universe, with the other eye being their original eye colour before death there.

With this one, I think the main issue is your brush. The inconsistent lines make it difficult to look at somewhat. It feels like it should be watercolor, but it's not (aside from parts of the background), which makes it look rough and unpolished.
