It’s always such a shame to think about how much Kaio-Ken fades into obscurity after the Super Saiyan transformations were introduced. Despite having the technique in Super, it feels like more an extension of Blue rather than the original technique we saw in the early days.

The original Super Saiyan (and it’s full power variant) is by far my favorite of the Saiyan transformations. It lost a lot of it’s charm overtime due to the overuse of the form, but it’s such a classic look that will pretty much always hold a special place in my heart.
