Tried a slightly different style with my colouring again, I'll probably keep most of these drawings/species to a similar style throughout the month!

Happy first day of Gonna be doing potential pin/sticker designs for all the listed birds! I'll try to include male/female + maybe fun color morphs as well!

Day 1: Eastern Towhee! I love their gorgeous bright orange sides! The contrast is so good!

day 1 for an Eastern Towhee!

bird fax: like meadowlarks, towhees are subject to a lot of taxonomic debate! The "rufous-sided towhee" was split into two species, the spotted & eastern towhee. Unlike the "yellow-breasted" meadowlarks tho, they will often interbreed!
