For extra sources of light (which are the highlight) there's no real rule, I do use the airbrush to locate the direction and with the same tool (smaller) i do reflections and other effects, it also enhances the physical property of materials. But most of the time i just go nuts

As for shadows, lately ive just been dabbing a bit with the airbrush in a 'multiply' layer. Anything else that needs more shadows I do add it after the lighting effects (neck, nose, boobs, eye lids, hair), sometimes i feel is unnecesary so thats why i leave it til the final steps

Fixed some mistakes in armor details and colors.

I rarely use brushes other than the pencil, airbrush and the tamar brush so I figured why not just go ahea and try different brushes. I now hail the luminance brushes on procreate. ✨✨

Question 1: Bang shading! Whenever I add more shading lines, it seems to alter the hair colour, and airbrushing the skin seems to just make the hair seem faded? Does anyone have tips? :D
