Gustave Dore's presentation of Perrault's warning incorporated in the Little Red Riding-Hood story, "Don't trust strangers!" He's probably the most successful illustrator of all times (1832-1883)

Little Red Riding-Hood written by Charles Perrault and illustrated by Gustave Dore. Here's his most famous illustration of Little Red Cap (In Perrault's collection of fairy tales the girl wears a cap not a hood - a French version after all!)

@JohnConstableRA Gustave Caillebotte - 'The Floor Scrapers' 1876, oil on canvas 80 x 100cm (Private Collection). Couldn't let GC pass without some floor scraping action - this is perhaps a lesser known version...
Completely unintentional school picture day backdrop...

@kpasaxavale The same head in different illustration. Gustave Doré was an extremely proliferant artist. Re-using elements of art is professional. Engineers, programmers etc. do it too.
look at these two and tell me they don’t listen to mcr together while trying to stave off ever-mounting sexual tension
