I understand why people like it and there are things I like about it too, but it just fell short for me. Too many characters, backstories, and plotlines made the anime feel unfulfilled and scattered, and the spark never lit up for me.

Why wasn't this an official Digivolution line? it looks so much more natural than throwing Orochimon in at the Ultimate Level. Eyesmon Scatter Mode > Shademon > Eyesmon > Niddhoggmon.
Only issue is the lack of arms on Shademon.
