I understand there hasn't been much updates regarding my models and animation practices lately. It's because I'm in the midst of upgrading!
There's tool for Blender called "Toonkit" which allows you to make expertly made cel shaded renders.

And now for some closeups. I was debating between hard cel shading or soft shading. Soft shading definitely gave it that nostalgic Kirby look! I was experimenting with having Coo bring the picnic blanket, but ultimately went with bread. A lot of bread!
