I can't help but think that some JP developers don't want to add Black characters because they don't want to show relationships between Black & White characters, despite such things happening in history.

Like as if Japan wants to Monopolize or "Steal" White people 4 themselves.

not sure if I mentioned but I play cookie run kingdom a lot (usually to replace social media) & developed a super strong attachment to carrow. I spent lots of time on her in game because she sparks joy. She is very small (bc she is a cookie). she sparks joy. I drew her once also
