They reconstructed each episode from the ground-up in HD which involved tracking down all the original negatives (in a massive warehouse!) and ‘rebuilding’ the effects sequences using the original model elements. The amount of work that went into the restoration is astounding.

First two, same character. Blood elf turned into void elf. Blessed by a Naaru at birth, she’s covered in sparkling stars and is gifted when it comes to healing. Third/fourth is a pastel blood elf who breeds and engineers special moths that she uses for tracking. :D
