Okay I am a bit obsessed with using a black/white gradient map to check that I’m getting tonal and contrast things right. There are prob still things a bit wrong here but I am *learning*, and I’m actually having a LOT of fun with this >.>

I tried another value study and then gradient mapping
And then did another really quick study for funsies.

decided to change my purple eye to gold with a purple gradient at the top
Working on getting to grips with gradient maps. I’ve mainly seen them used to help recolour the same backgrounds for different scenarios, but I’ve read about other cool uses for them as well so here I am :3 Also reacquainting myself with b/w rendering.
I love gore but haven’t drawn much of it. I’ll probably be doing a lot more now. Mainly used gradient maps and I think it turned out good :^)

Did some more quick icons for my characters ^^ (Doing gradients in pixel art is evil)
I like the outcome of trying out grayscale and then putting a gradient map!
I'm also trying to be more active but ending up failing
(I hope I'll draw more in the future)

~emerging from my cave with a new sketch~ I wanted to try out gradient maps
Trying out gradient mapping for colors in CSP. I get the appeal but... it seems a bit finicky or is it just me? OxO ngl it looks decent so far. Not sure if I like this way or the other way I did it.
Super heckin proud of the the hair that's for sure.
I am SO HYPED to finish this image. This has taken almost two years and it is almost done, but I want to do it right so I will probably be capturing data for another 2-3 months. I perfected the gradient modeling now you can see there are no residuals left even for 25 panels
A Completed piece for @Shojojoy00 on twitter!! It was very fun doing something a bit different from what I usually do and it was fun playing with the rendering/gradients.
Followed a Bob Ross tutorial for The Secluded Bridge. First time I've ever followed one and I both like it and don't. First image is the initial painting, second is playing with a gradient trying to adjust colors a bit. Overall it was a good time though :)
