Watercolor + Digital. Redoing of an old painting from 2013. I really liked the concept but the execution wasn't there, decided to revisit 5 years later now that I have a new perspective.

Watching my life fall apart around me from a detached perspective. This back pain I'm experiencing is probably psychosomatic.

Didn't have much time tonight so just started on the base colors for Chloe. I scrapped the Truck and am going to start again with different perspective. Woop.

Sometimes I get really sad when I think about how I used to draw. Like, I used to be more daring with my form and style and colors and I'd play with perspective. When I look I know it's because I didn't clean my artwork much and didn't fix but even like, it feels right.

One day I want to come back and revisit this piece. Add more details, atmosphere perspective... Something about the watermelon colors just makes me like it a lot. Maybe cuz it reminds me of the Splatoon Pink and Green Joycons? Haha

4. Tons of "villains", yeh. I usually try to make them anti-heroish tho, or the protagonist of their own story. Yay perspective.
