I miss Reaper's ammo belts. They were a very distinct part of the OG design. Even without brandishing his weapons, you'd know he uses a shotgun. Also the chunky shells have a nice rough feeling and add an appealing red accent to the design.

Why do people still mistake ugly low poly with PS1 graphics? Most character models in that era didn't look so half-assed and the devs would usually work around the limitations to make the model appealing. Like this here is just one example but it's been bugging me for a while.

The point is appealing character design. The question of why would they use simplicity in their design. It's not just because its easier to animate (which it is, allowing more movement) it also expresses character effectively and in an appealing way.

I know people are surprised when I say my favorite anime character is Zangya, she's been in more DBZ games and has little screentime in 2 movies and I'm not even a huge DBZ fan, I just think she's a very appealing character to me.
