Value exploration for Joyful & Creature. Trying out a different approach this time, doing some more rendered iterations already with value instead of going though sketches, inspired by the amazing Henry Lynch :D

Ellyna is a more recent characters, so I don't many iterations of her

Her armor design was inspired to be that of a scifi paladin who utilized hardlight to generate walls and shields for her allies.

Her horns and twin tails are the parts of her design I always have fun drawing

Btw, it is REALLY hard to get blue-ish skin correctly (and the eyes, omg), but after several iterations, I ended up with this.
