The ribbons of ink whisking around him are representative of how the Spade's corruption also binds him (it...also just filled a lot of empty background space and was aesthetically pleasing lmao so the meaning kind of came into it during the process. IT STILL COUNTS).

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my process. I was sent the helmet specifications, and I then drew 2D profile drawings of the helmet. This formed my template, and the brief was open. I drew everything from scratch, including the bespoke card designs and roulette table

Thanks for the suggestion but I mostly draw blank sketch because I dont have time for coloring. I dont think that coloring is a style though, to me coloring is a choice and a part of the process. I go to school and draw commissions all days so I will color it when I have time.

A sneak to my process.
I've managed to drag a 2D image and place/display it as a reference point, setting up the base pose from the profile view (in orthographic projection) before refining the rest afterwards.
