I realized the colours of the logo of KOF 2001 are a reference to K9999's colours.
Makes sense because he was K's new rival and was relevant in the plot.
You can say anything about KOF 2001 but you have to admit the logo is one of the best in the series.
Easily in my top three!

The manhua adaptation introduced K9999 better than the games and made him more interesting.
We know he has am inferiority complex (like Tetsuo) but in a different take.
He is a defective clone after all and doesn't like to be compare with K'

His motorcycle and (probably) his only friend, Angel.

I think that's the only thing he shares with the original Kyo, besides having the Kusanagi flames.

Even the intro puts him in the same category as K' and Kula.

Guys, as are you, you know you shouldn't eliminate k9999, I know that nameless would be the replacement for the unstable clone, but it doesn't have the essence that the canonical version of the 2001 kof delivery has 🙏
