I don't have art from back in 2009 as I didn't begin drawing until 2018 but...

The piece on the left was the first piece of digital art I made (back in December 2018) & the second piece was just over a year later (posted a few days ago)! 💜

Yeah I'll admit that I had a cringey Sonic Phase. I also started my digital art journey in 2010 but I first started with Ms Paint tho.

TBH it was hard choosing what to use to represent 2009 - it was the year I graduated and I had this whole portfolio in a style I didn't love - but this was the image on my business card, so clearly I thought it was representative.

I think the first one was actually my first digital painting ever, before that I had only draw with pencils and paint with oils at school.

2009 was the year I decided to move to a different state to study animation, met some of my best friends to this day. I've met amazing people in 2019 and worked on projects I woulda never imagined. Looking forward to the future. :)

Art style. One of the last pieces I did in 2009 vs the last piece I finished in 2019. It's odd to me that I was actually in a similar mind space, albeit slightly different visuals. I'd love to revisit the concept of 2009 soon.
