campaign update: they beat this guy up and took his axes, which react to his blood (they got PLENTY of that too) the party also poisoned an entire fort of cultists after some kitchen shenanigans, and miraculously dunked an arch mage into a pool of lava. #dnd

The split jaw thing and sharp teeth are very important for the creepy factor!

Bélouries were great warrior. But what weapon can you use when your body can change size, weight, strenght in middle of a battlefeild ?
Bélouries invented Bélourian axes (or Spear-axes), an heavy versatile weapon that only their species can manipulate proprely.
@ovaettrart Weapons that change shape as you use them! Monster Hunter switch axes and charge blades, for example. Or the Glaive from Nioh 2!
