My general take is that making a "Ghost" robot master tends to be done with the idea of making them edgy or horror by default, I wanted to go a different direction.
Youkai aren't inherently evil, some are even helpful! So I wanted to make a cute take on the Yuki-Onna.
Though the three on the right aren't in this universe, don't mind that.
