Having read the Catwoman tie-in issues for Fear State now actually having read the main story gives it great new context. The rescue of Ivy plus Harley’s characterization this run makes this waaay more satisfying. I think I’ve grown a new appreciation for their relationship.

Good cast and decent characterizations. I knew there're some shoujo elements coming into this so it's not a surprise for me. Overall a very funny volume. Comedy is subjective but this one is a hit for me.

I think one thing I really appreciate about @WoodenPlank's Smash Bros. comics is the attention to detail they give to everything, including characterization despite it being an ensemble cast and the comics all being done within a week

There's 2 types of novelizations Perry did for RE. One's a very direct adaptation, the other is more liberal, adding new lore and characterization. I prefer the latter. So CV being simply the game(and cutting Chris' portion short),this book is landing lower sadly
