Even the official art of SS just feels so... charming, though. The designs are fantastical and distinct without feeling overdesigned. Every Engage character design is so overstimulating I can hardly stand to look at it for more than 5 seconds.

Debuting in the original Streets of Rage, Abadede was a great design. Clearly based on the Ultimate Warrior (though the tongue out makes me think of Kiss too?), he's strongly distinct of the 80s/early 90s era.

It's a pity he never made it into SoR4, maybe we'll see him in 5?
