Got in a visual novel mood tonight, tried out the demo of Buddy Mission: Bond for the Switch! It's a really cool VN by Koei Tecmo and Nintendo, it came out a few weeks ago, and there's no English release! So, with the help of some fun software, we had it auto-translated?

Okay, so I finally have the concept of my reinterpretation of Naotora Ii From the Samurai Warriors Series. I would like to point out before I go into more of this, that I have no beef with Koei and that this is merely my reinterpretation of the character (1/?)

Koei: Dá destaque pro William Adams e Yasuke em Nioh

Also Koei: Vamo fingir que eles nunca existiram em Samurai Warriors

BTW, eles tiveram um design excelente em Nioh

(thus Yuan Shu would be "The Rat Emperor" )

"NO ONE CARES, BRO"

(Hey, RTK14 and Dynasty Warriors ares published by Koei/Tecmo so it's vaguely related to DOA -- Ayane even cosplayed as Sun Shangxiang once!)

100 Fav. Games
Samurai Warriors (PS2; 2004)

Like most Koei games, even though the earlier titles are less polished, I really like Samurai Warriors 1. Maybe it's because the series had less 'super powers' and felt more 'real' with the first. It has wonderful game feel.

For real though, I really miss hand-drawn cover art.

The covers for Koei’s old strategy games were the best, because they had to fire up your imagination while you stared at a colored map and some numbers.

I’d frame them in a museum if I could, they’re ‘Star Wars’-level good.
