@lil__fin The "it's lighting" mfs when I tell them no amt of lighting makes a 2D skin tone like this look like THAT.
Not to mention her default skin tone in the anime itself is a little paler than canon. Which adds to dumb dumbs thinking it in fact is the lighting.

Portrait painting. Here I did some color blocking, however it wouldn't fit into any other category, because I had a very clear idea in mind. Only hair was free hand.

The main point was strong lighting in a dark area.

Which technique or elements do you prefer?

wanted to draw Lucina and Tiki, and try out new methods, so ended up experimenting with a different approach to lighting and shading, the result is quite different from my usual style
