@GuyNorcal After doing the linework I make a concept for the background. This is when I usually change it completely from the 1st idea as you can see.
Afterwards I try to decide for the actual colors - try to 😂
When it comes to shading I adjust the details & lights a.s.o.

@GuyNorcal All my linework and shading is hand drawn with pencil on paper. I scan the individual drawings then assemble and colour digitally. It takes forever but fortunately I enjoy the process. Current wip ✨👇✌️
and a shot of the lineart because it's one of my favorite parts of the drawing process and I like my linework a lot.

Up until now I've been using a sort of burgandy colour for most of my linework.
This means I can't use many dark colours like black or navy without making them lighter first.
Gonna keep testing the slightly blacker linework I used for Drop to make my blacks pop a bit more.

More fun stuff, magnolias new chew toys, Concept art was created by @mystayre, the linework was made by @BlackGuySenpai and the colouring was by my own. I Believe theres one image left to complete the set ^^ keep an eye out for Senpai's & Mystayre's designs ~
Just a little progress before returning to gig stuff. Busy day. It's interesting to see what looks like too much visual noise in the linework is forced into a more useful hierarchy when rendered
