Magcargo se inspira en los caracoles y en la lava en cuanto a forma del cuerpo. Y en cuanto al concepto está claramente inspirado en el Cherufe, un ser de la mitología mapuche (perteneciente a un grupo indígena que habita en Chile y Argentina).
