After many years of being sinfully ignorant, I finally decided to dive deeper into John Singer Sargent. Here are some quick introductory studies, but I'll be repeating these paintings a few times to learn how to make these colors/techniques mine. Wish me luck!

I did some studies based on a master painting by Max Nonnenbruch. Original on the left, four studies of mine on the right! I'm studying color and composition, and I would like to think that the fourth study of mine looks the most solid 😸

First attempt with master study 1h painting, I love so much the traditional feeling in a digital painting. I’m going to do this kind of study every morning and will see if I’ll be better! Have a nice day💃
