I'm still trying to perfect the combination of human and non-human. (And I'm definitely trying to avoid the flat faces/overly small muzzles that some of my previous characters had at certain angles.) I always draw Sandy smiling, so here's a boring neutral expression.

Khor the Gnoll was my first character design commission! I hope I've gotten better at drawing muzzles since then

I've done it, technically and officially my first piece. It's got mistakes because I dunno how to use photoshop to color line art and basically learned something to do what I needed. Also muzzles still mess me up, it's in flats need more learning time to shade next time.

Animals' faces are not just muzzles, you know

Unfortunately I don't know how to draw muzzles from any other angles. If you have muzzle reference materials, drop 'em.

Here's a side view the shark girl that I'm working on 🦈

YCH example: expressions are subject to change, just let us know what expression you'd like - or a bit about your character if you'd like to leave it to us <3

Furries: OK (we are bad at long muzzles)
Mech: Nothing overly complex

I love the way you draw muzzles and facial expressions 🥰 Thanks for the chance!

"The Tibetan fox is small and compact, with soft, dense coats and conspicuously narrow muzzles and bushy tails. Its widespread range is the Tibetan Plateau's steppes and semi-deserts. Its skull is the most specialised in the direction of carnivory."

Both good muzzles!

The left one was the initial idea, but I was struggling so much with the muzzles and perspective I ended up leaving it halfway.

The right one I decided to redo it all, and aww, it ended up shaped like a heart <3

Love those so, so much...

Oh, and that's :3

I love the textures and colour you use in your work, but my favourite part is the squash-and-stretch in the way you draw legs and paws and muzzles. There’s so much energy and movement in your pieces. 💛
