purple fingertips? i think the purple in her design is just to contrast her yellow ink. as for the fingertip coloration itself: its something weve previously seen on octolings but not on inklings... perhaps with new cultural integration, inklings have learned how to as well?

splatoon
probably has been done before - but i wanted to design inklings/octolings based on different types of squids and octopi!

Does Shiver even have an eye mask? (As in the octolings variant) Because I can't decide if that's just eyeliner or???

Male (Octarian) Octolings are rarely born and only females are allowed in the army
This is one of the reasons why my OC decided to transition :) https://t.co/vM1Aetxn2X

While off-duty with nothing to do, an decided to have some fun by herself and did some acrobatics. She climbed atop a crate and did a perfect handstand worthy of a ten out of ten from the other Octolings. She's one flexible octo-gal, yup.

🦑🐙 Cheri and Berry

They’re dating. 🐙 protects them both with her brella and softens enemies with burst bombs while 🦑 kills the enemies. They’re also both adults and a bit taller than the inklings and octolings usually are

hanako’s eyemask match her ink colour! (so usually purple or magenta) its inspired from how the enemy octolings in the first game have a purple mask, so i assumed that enemy octolings’ masks were meant to match their ink colour!
