Here's a couple little tidbits about P.S. :)
🍔Posie's design and demeanor were (probably pretty obviously) inspired by L from Death Note.
🎤Also the dynamic between Danielle and Posie was inspired by Kirari and Anzu from idolmaster lol

about the plague:
The 'roses' are red blotches on the skin.
The 'posies' are the sweet-smelling flowers people carried to ward off the plague.
'Atishoo' is the sneezing fits of people with pneumonic plague.
'We all fall down' refers to death.
