One of the most downright meta integrations of filmic influence in all of the Claremont run is, perhaps counterintuitively, the M-Squad, a silly, simple Ghostbusters riff with a whole lot of subtext simmering through to create internal criticism of X-Factor. #xmen 1/7

Late Christmas gift for @pandipaws of her half-troll girl Seria and her adopted baby-loa-son, Riff!
@terrifictoons @Trolls You can draw my Trolls OCsSweet B and Jam🍓🎸 Quick info about them: Sweet B is a slightly shy but kind Pop Troll who's parents are obvious to mention. Jam is a Rock Troll, Riff's relative and Barb's apprentice. He likes decorating his guitar with cool looking stickers:)
Been geeking out the past couple of days with a friend & today sprung on him my (as far as I know) unparalleled collection of Chinese Little House translations (not a hard bar to vault over, nevertheless). Been admiring this artistic riff in one version (from Farmer Boy) since.
that said, its still an incredible and powerful tool and i'm really impressed with it as a technical achievement
so, uh, i guess at some point you might get to see me finally finish my sci-fi posthuman Exalted riff Envoys, illustrated by @midjourney
Recorded this looping riff.
If has some errors due to the video rendering... Oof.
figures that i'd try to practice slap bass by playing Someday by tatsuro yamashita (a song i THOUGHT would be fairly easy) only to realize most of the main riff is on EXTREMELY harmonic frets which is completely decimating the sound in the hands of a beginner like me
