IMO compared to Mario. That’s partly what makes me miss Sonic during the 2000s is how Sonic’s model would change in every game I’d play. It not only made a game stand out from another but also demonstrated how amazing Sonic’s character design is as well. Yep (3/4)

Amy canonically was always purposed by SEGA of Japan to be Sonic’s only love interest & his Minnie Mouse, not Sally Acorn, Blaze, Rouge, Fiona Fox or Elise (gross). Sonamy started in 1991 at SoJ’s direct request to Sonic Team & Naoto Ohshima is both Sonic’s & Amy’s co-creator.

Very true- but Sonic’s design used to change very often during the 2000’s
I’m not saying we need to go on a Sonic Boom level type of redesign- but say goodbye to the Meta era, as we literally passed an entire decade. (Personally, I really like this design by Tyson Hesse)
