TYSM for the tag 💜

Hihi, I'm Matron (or Malice), a variety vtuber chopping through a backlog of 400+ titles. I tend to play rpgs and horror games, talk pop culture and drink too much coffee ☕

You can find me on MWF and Sat (on occasion), live @ 10am PT 🙏🏽

My Favourite C64 Coders No.61

Robert Steggles

As a kid I was too young & impatient to appreciate adventures but I was always impressed by Magnetic Scrolls' titles. Robert worked on Corruption, Fish, The Pawn & Guild of Thieves, by all accounts, 4 of the 80s greatest adventures.

Two friends in the VR Argentina discord server (, Agusfn) gave me the idea of using DALL·E 2 (#dalle) from OpenAI to generate images based on Beat Saber ranked song titles.
Each input will be: "[Song Name]", digital art

Starting with Quasar Dreams.

-Zatana's fight scene and breaking reality is still one of the best use of panels and bleed I've ever seen

-The Newsboy Legion and Vigilante stuff really capture the change in the genre since their titles.

-The final "spear" is so great I still think about it on occasion.

They seem to want to print Battle Shonen, Action, Adventure, or Fantasy titles. Closer a title is to any of those, the more likely Viz will promote & print those titles.

"Jujutsu Kaisen 0" will release on Blu-ray & DVD in Japan on September 21.

The release includes the English subtitles. No information about digital release yet.

Name a villain whose appearances you would like collected in one volume! Follow the evil-doer’s evolution and history through all titles.

I would recommend Count Nefaria including his impactful confrontations with the X-Men and Avengers.

Who would you pick?

Having read several thousand pulp novels over the years (don't thank me, it's what I do) I've also noted several key words that frequently appear in the titles.

Each is a sure sign that you are holding a pulp novel, rather than something long and unreadable by Jonathan Franzen.

The people that work on Tales should take some mobile characters and put them in mothership titles. Over 20 characters were wasted with Luminaria and some had decent designs. These 4 looked especially cute. A real shame.

Finally finished the meme. Made 2 versions! 1 in comic and one in subtitles. Phew.

I saw short clips of Mysta's streaming few days ago, after that day I can't stop watching Mysta's clips now!!!!
>>He is really CUTE<<
Actually I am not good at English and I can't understand 90% of what he says without subtitles.
But I enjoying and that is so exciting!

TikTok & BookTok are driving interest & publishing none more so than YA and older titles. Interesting! https://t.co/qeOVMVzYAX

Having to indulge in both and finale in one day is a wonderful double treat. It's like doing a three way dance with both titles. 💮❤️‍🔥🦋✨🌙

My Favourite C64 Software Houses No.48

Domark

Domark released lots of games in the 80s for most 8-bit computers. While some are awful (Hard Drivin’ I’m looking at you), A.P.B and Trivial Pursuit are very good, and Split Personalities is superb - one of my favourite C64 titles.
