The trend of Wario relevant games just casually having a great female cast started as early his second appearance and first game as a title character.

While Wario Blast, due to it's nature, has a hard time being directly referenced, it did mark a couple firsts for Wario.

It's the first game to emphasize bombs as an element to associate with Wario, something we still see today and we also get him on a bike, for the first time.
