I fell in love with his art style back when I played the alpha series as a kid and have tried to incorporate a bit of this style into my work.
The artists of Capcom(I know one of these us SNK) have been a major influence for me, especially Bengus, Kinu, Shinkiro, and Daigo Ikeno
For me, Alpha 2 was not just about the greatness of its competitive experience, but I'm a huge fan of the Capcom artists at the time, specifically Bengus. Their art speaks to me to this day and was a huge inspiration to my approach to shape language.

@Richmond_Lee Akiman has definitely illustrated Ryu in a way that is unparalleled. Every time he draws him is so striking and undeniably Ryu. Bengus' Ryu always have a special place in my heart as well.
@MattMcMuscles I was afraid this was going to happen when Resident Evil and DMC got more realistic artstyles. Street Fighter with an Bengus's artstyle like how Arcsys does Guilty Gear would be amazing.
